Who we are
Vímary is made by Victor Martynov, an individual entrepreneur registered in Georgia («we»). This policy explains what the Vímary app for iPhone and iPad and the website vimaryapp.com do with information about you. The short version: the app keeps everything on your device and sends nothing anywhere; the website has no accounts, no cookies of its own and one form.
Questions about this policy: support@vimaryapp.com or the Telegram bot @Vimary_Support.
The app: nothing leaves your device
There is no account and no registration. Your progress, your records, the settings you choose, the daily circle, the Path, and the name you may enter for the app to greet you with are stored only on your device, in the app’s own storage. We have no server that receives them and no way to see them.
The app does not use advertising or analytics services from third parties. It keeps a short local log of which screens were opened, for the app’s own «statistics» switch; that log never leaves the device and you can turn it off in the account sheet.
Deleting the app deletes all of this. If you use iCloud backups, your device may include the app’s storage in the backup under your own Apple ID; we are not part of that.
Notifications
If you allow them, the app schedules local reminders on your device: one a day at the time you chose, a note when you have been away for a long while, and a note before the free period ends. They are created on the device itself; no push server is involved and no device token is sent to us.
Purchases
The subscription is sold through Apple’s App Store and charged to your Apple ID. Apple handles the payment and your card details; we never receive them. What the app learns from Apple is whether a subscription is active and until when, so it can unlock the paid parts. Apple’s handling of your data is described in Apple’s privacy policy.
Writing to support
When you write to us from the app, it composes an email in your mail app and shows you, before you send it, what travels with the letter: the app version, your device model, the app language and the day of use. You send the letter yourself, and you can delete any of that from it. When you write to the Telegram bot, Telegram’s own terms apply to the chat.
We keep support correspondence for as long as we need it to help you and to see what in the app causes trouble, and delete it on request.
The website
vimaryapp.com is served by Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare sees the technical details of a request (your IP address, the browser and the page asked for) to deliver the page and to block attacks; it keeps these in its own logs for a short time under Cloudflare’s privacy policy. We do not run our own analytics on the site and set no cookies of our own.
The feedback form stores what you typed, the language of the page, the time, and, only if you choose to leave it, your email, so that we can reply. To stop one person flooding the form, we also store a salted hash of the sender’s address, from which the address cannot be recovered. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person rather than a script is sending it; it does not track you across websites. We keep feedback for up to twelve months.
Children
The app and the site do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included. If a child has written to us and a parent would like that message removed, write to the address above.
Your rights
Because the app holds no data about you on our side, there is nothing for us to export or delete there: deleting the app does it. For messages you sent us, write to support@vimaryapp.com and we will delete them. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If the app ever starts sending something off the device, this policy will say so before that version ships, and the date at the top will change. The current version is always at vimaryapp.com/privacy.
